How to Germinate Cannabis Seeds

This grow will (hopefully) consist of 6 different strains that I have collected in the last year. I have no clue how this is going to turn out lol these are just random seeds I have found. I know for sure at least one of them is a G4, and I am like 50% sure at least one of them is a cookie. My plan is to just grow them and just see how they come out and what all the different plants look like and hopefully see what all the different plants smoke like. I am most excited to see what all the different plants end up looking like and seeing the differences between them. If you are interested too, you will be able to subscribe and follow me on this journey.

This is how I germinate my seeds.

Day 1 of Germination.

Here, I just laid my seeds on a dry paper towel. As you can see, four of the seeds are brown. That means they are healthy seeds. The one towards the top is slightly smaller and also green. And the smaller one towards the bottom is also green. This means that they are not mature seeds. They were not fully grown before they were taken off the plant. I am not expecting those smaller seeds to do anything really, but I'm trying to germinate them anyway because why not.

Next, you don't have to do this if you don't want to, but this is another way to see how healthy your seeds are. Healthy seeds generally will float to the top of the water. One of my seeds sunk to the bottom. It was one of my brown seeds actually, so I was a little nervous about that. Then I just put the seeds on a paper towel, and folded it and put it in a plastic bag. Place your seeds in a warm and dark place. I put mine in a closet. I first put them in a drawer, but they were too cold, so I moved them and they started doing better.

This is what they looked like on the fourth day of germinating. I would recommend planting it once the root looks like the one in the first picture (the longest root). I planted that seed that day, and it sprouted on the third day after being planted. If you are growing yours may be quicker. Last year I grew white widow and they did not take long to pop, probably a day, maybe two at the most. But here's what my seed looked like once it sprouted.
